Associate General Counsel based in Malta; reports to European Associate General Counsel; supports OKX's European entities and collaborates with Global Legal team and business leaders.
Day-to-day scope includes: handling complaints and litigation, product development support, corporate governance, contract negotiations, regulatory matters, compliance legal support, institutional sales and partnerships, marketing/advertising; assessing legal risk of digital assets; managing new asset review process; managing civil/regulatory litigation and outside counsel; overseeing license obligations and internal policies; collaborating with product/business teams; assisting with corporate governance and other corporate matters; advising on legal concepts and risks aligned with business goals.

Doctor of Law (LL.D.) or Master in Advocacy with Malta practice warrant
Resident of Malta
5+ years at a top-tier law firm and/or in-house legal team (financial services or crypto preferred)
Experience advising on cryptocurrency and blockchain law or strong interest/knowledge
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment; strong communication and relationship-building with business teams; comfortable navigating a rapidly changing legal landscape; collaborative in a high-functioning legal team; self-starter, proactive and precise; experience with cross-jurisdictional matters and drafting/negotiating contracts.
