Your position

  • Backend Architect on the Pay&Card Team responsible for architecting and building card-related systems end to end; lead technical design and implementation of card certification processes (Visa, MasterCard, Apple Pay / Google Pay onboarding); define system architecture, service boundaries, and integration patterns for card platform services; ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance with payment network standards; collaborate with product, compliance, and engineering teams; establish engineering best practices, code quality standards, and technical documentation; hands-on builder role.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of backend engineering experience with strong Java / Spring expertise
  • Direct experience building or maintaining a card system
  • Experience with card certification processes and/or card onboarding programs
  • Strong system design and architecture skills with distributed systems and high-throughput payment infrastructure
  • Understanding of card network standards, payment flows, and compliance requirements
