Your position

  • Design, build, and maintain backend infrastructure, APIs, and services at scale.
  • Own architecture and implementation of distributed systems behind high-volume, low-latency APIs.
  • Lead system design discussions and shape backend architecture direction.
  • Set backend development best practices for throughput, reliability, and latency.
  • Trace production issues across services and the full stack; ship fixes to improve reliability? (rephrase to match source)

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining core backend components.
  • Ability to solve design, scalability, latency, or performance problems in high-throughput, low-latency production systems.
  • Production experience with Java, Rust.
