Tools for Humanity (TFH) designs and builds the technology behind World, a global human network designed to accelerate people in the age of AI. World aims to provide a trusted way for people, institutions, and applications to confirm real human identity while preserving privacy. This is achieved through the Orb for verification, World ID for private proof, and World App for user access, adding a human layer to the AI-driven internet. World operates globally, with over 17 million people across 160 countries verified with World ID, and World App being among the most used wallets globally. Founded in 2019, TFH has over 400 employees across hardware, software, AI, cryptography, mobile engineering, and global operations, backed by leading investors like a16z and Khosla Ventures. The Device organization is responsible for designing, building, manufacturing, and operating the hardware products that power the World network. The Device Product team defines what TFH builds and why, translating company strategy, user needs, operational realities, and technical constraints into a clear product direction, partnering closely with UX Design and Industrial Design. The Head of Product, Devices will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for TFH's device portfolio. This leadership role is responsible for defining the products, problems, users, and measurable outcomes across every stage of the product lifecycle—from early concept and definition through manufacturing, launch, and continuous improvement. The role sits at the intersection of hardware, software, AI, industrial design, manufacturing, privacy, security, and global operations, requiring a balance of long-term vision with practical execution. Key responsibilities include defining the long-term product vision and roadmap for hardware platforms and accessories, translating company strategy into product strategy, owning product direction across the full hardware lifecycle, driving product discovery through research and data, defining product requirements and metrics, partnering with UX and Industrial Design, collaborating with engineering and operational teams for informed decisions, leading product readiness for launches, and building/mentoring a high-performing product management team.
