  • Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Plus 5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, Software Architect, or any occupation designing, developing, and securing blockchain-based backend systems
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience, a Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience
  • 3 years of professional experience developing backend systems utilizing backend programming languages (Go or Rust)
  • 3 years working on protocols that span from L1s to L2s, including reducing dependence on L1 smart contracts when appropriate? (as per source)

Compensation & benefits

  • Salary: $193,461 - $291,000 per year
  • Position is 100% remote; must reside in the U.S.; reports to HQ in New York, NY
  • Location constraints: cannot be performed in California or Colorado
