Your position

  • Experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator responsible for design, deployment, and maintenance of PostgreSQL clusters in AWS using IaC; automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring; perform regular maintenance and query optimization; build high-availability architectures; implement backup, recovery, and DR strategies; support 24/7 production systems and participate in incident response; collaborate with SRE/DevOps/engineering on CI/CD for database ops

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience managing PostgreSQL databases in production
  • Strong SQL query optimization, indexing, and PostgreSQL performance tuning skills
  • Experience designing and maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant systems with minimal downtime
  • Experience supporting 24/7 production systems with on-call or incident response
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, EBS, S3, IAM)
