Your position

  • Senior Full Stack Engineer, Platform Team
  • Develop and operate Alpaca’s authentication, authorization, and Identity Provider (IdP) systems across APIs, customer products, and internal tools.
  • Mostly Go backend (gRPC/REST), React/TypeScript for auth UI, with occasional Java for IdP extensions; work with Helm, logs, metrics, deployments, and cross-team integrations; end-to-end ownership from requirements to delivery and monitoring.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional coding experience in strongly-typed languages; at least 1 year in Go.
  • Experience building web apps with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL is used).
  • Startup experience; comfortable in ambiguous environments, changing priorities, balancing technical debt with speed, and driving tasks end-to-end.
  • 3+ years working on systems at scale.
