Your position
- Senior Manager, Application Security responsible for leading application security across MetaMask extension, mobile app, Snaps, backend services, DeFi primitives, stablecoins, and supporting smart contracts. Hands-on leadership; set strategy and operating model; oversee code review, threat modelling, and security testing; report to Head of Security and collaborate with Engineering leadership.
Requirements
- Eight+ years in application security or security-focused software engineering; two years leading people.
- Strong practical code review skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Go or Solidity across extensions, mobile apps and backend services.
- Experience securing applications across clients and backend services, including distributed authentication, authorization and key management.
- Experience building or improving an AppSec program with security reviews, automated testing, AI scanning, vulnerability management and developer support.
- Experience securing software supply chains (dependencies, npm, artefact integrity, CI/CD).
