Your position

  • Design, build, and maintain Alpaca Crypto exchange and market-making systems
  • Develop crypto wallet, funding, and tokenization services
  • Implement backend services and web applications
  • Maintain software quality and test coverage
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot incidents, and on-call as needed

Requirements

  • Experience building exchanges, market-making systems, matching engines, or other high-throughput, low-latency financial systems
  • Backend software development experience (4+ years)
  • Golang (Go) proficiency; platform is Golang-based
  • Experience with messaging queues and message brokers
  • SQL/relational database skills (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
