This high-impact role involves building critical internal systems that power CFTC-regulated exchange operations, including payment reconciliation, transaction processing, operational dashboards, and compliance tooling. The engineer will work directly with operations teams, build systems that handle real money at scale, and help establish the technical foundation for a growing US exchange business.Responsibilities include: building tools for US exchange operations to help control desk operators, supervisors, and compliance teams manage high-volume payment processing and reconciliation workflows; regularly shipping production features, improvements, and fixes in a fast-paced, regulated environment; working across the full stack to build frontend interfaces for operational dashboards and backend APIs for transaction processing, reconciliation, payment provider integrations, and other control desk operations; collaborating closely with operations, compliance, and product teams to understand workflows, gather feedback, and iterate quickly on tooling; designing systems for scale and compliance, handling thousands of daily transactions while maintaining audit trails and meeting CFTC regulatory requirements; and contributing to technical decisions, participating in architecture discussions, code reviews, and helping establish best practices for the team.
