Your position

  • Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Identity Verification – own the ML systems that determine legitimacy of person, document, and capture session; lead end-to-end IDV ML strategy from architecture to production enforcement; build identity-graph systems and behavioral/device-intelligence models; drive vendor ML strategy and in-house evaluation; mentor engineers in the pod; collaborate with ML Platform and Risk ML teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years deploying production ML systems at scale with cross-team architecture ownership.
  • Domain experience in identity verification, biometrics, or account integrity with applied ML in at least two: computer vision/biometrics, GNNs, sequence models, or NLP/LLMs.
  • Expert-level Python with production experience in TensorFlow or PyTorch (training, evaluation, serving).
  • Experience translating KYC/AML requirements and fraud trends into ML roadmaps and communicating trade-offs to Product, Compliance, Risk, and Security.
  • Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and measurable improvements.

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary varies by location; annual base salary range: $218,025—$256,500 (excluding equity and bonus).
  • Total compensation may include equity and bonus eligibility, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k)).
  • Remote-first, but not remote-only; in-person surges quarterly.
