Your position

  • Staff Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure & Systems Engineering, Seattle — own the cloud infrastructure powering TaxBit's platform; technical leader for AWS environment; drive AI Ops/DevOps strategy; partner with engineering, security, and compliance to improve reliability, security, and developer velocity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.Sc. minimum) in Computer Science or related field
  • Significant experience in systems/infrastructure engineering with hands-on AWS cloud expertise
  • Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitHub, and Infrastructure-as-Code (AWS CDK preferred, Terraform acceptable)
  • Experience designing and implementing backup, data architecture, and disaster recovery for cloud systems and data stores/dcritical systems

Compensation & benefits

  • Base salary range: $170,000-$250,000
  • Incentive compensation and equity may be available
