Your position

  • Staff Software Engineer - Platform: Own architecture of event streaming end-to-end; define 2–3 year direction; design scalable user-facing streaming; set event-driven standards; shape AuthN/AuthZ; mentor and lead incidents; on-call technical lead; work primarily in Go; collaborate across teams.

Requirements

  • 8+ years professional engineering experience at real scale
  • Proficient in Go (or deep experience in another strongly-typed language)
  • Architected production event streaming (Kafka/Redpanda) with partitioning, consumer groups, retention, delivery guarantees
  • Delivered realtime data to clients at scale (WebSockets, SSE, or gRPC) with fan-out and backpressure
  • Driven technical direction across teams via RFCs and designs, without formal authority? (owned decisions)
