Your position

  • VP of Engineering (Head of Engineering) responsible for a ~50-person engineering org
  • Own engineering strategy and architecture across card issuing, wallets, ledger, money movement, onchain settlement, and integrations
  • Lead through direct reports and engineering managers/tech leads; partner with Product, Risk, and Compliance
  • Set engineering quality bar; ensure correctness for systems that move customer funds
  • Drive reliability, scalability, and operational excellence; establish SLOs and capacity planning for 10x growth (graceful degradation, idempotency, replay)

Requirements

  • Experience leading a ~50-person engineering organization
  • Involvement in design reviews and high-consequence architecture decisions
  • Ability to own multi-year technical roadmaps and strategic direction
  • Proven track record building reliable, scalable systems and incident response
  • Collaborates with Risk, Compliance, and Security; knowledge of PCI and SOC 2 requirements
