Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform, enabling individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace, Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities. The company is experiencing rapid growth, with $21B traded in 2025, and aims to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media. The Workplace Lead will own Polymarket's physical space and contribute to the work environment's feel. Reporting to the Head of People Experience, this strategic role involves managing the Office Manager and Receptionist, running the NYC HQ from day one, and scaling the team and systems to accommodate growth to 200-500 people, including leading a major office build-out. This is not an administrative role, but rather an opportunity to manage the office like a product, continuously improving the space to match the intensity of the work. Responsibilities include: running the office daily, ensuring high standards for space, supplies, furniture, and vibes; setting and maintaining operational standards; selecting and managing vendors (cleaning, catering, facilities); owning, planning, and tracking the workplace budget; ensuring a strong impression for investors, candidates, and partners; collaborating with IT and Security on office systems (visitor management, room booking, inventory, maintenance); making the office sustainable and accessible (waste, energy, recycling, ADA compliance); owning workplace health and safety, including routine checks, ergonomics, and local compliance; running emergency preparedness with the Security team; working with Security on physical access and incident response; building and leading the workplace team, setting goals, coaching, and developing playbooks/SOPs; partnering with People, Finance, IT, and Security; tracking and reporting workplace metrics (utilization, satisfaction, spend); owning the in-office events program (happy hours, celebrations, All Hands); partnering with People on culture programming (swag, welcome kits, recognition, onboarding); leading the workplace team through office build-outs, managing landlord relationships, ensuring lease compliance, and coordinating with designers and architects to deliver new spaces on time and budget; and scoping/building out new sites as Polymarket expands.
